Autobiography

My name is Reychelle Dela Cruz, and I am from Nungnungan 2, Cauayan City, Isabela. I am 21 years old, and my story is about growth, learning, and finding strength in unexpected turns. When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a Tourism student because I loved the idea of exploring places, meeting people, and learning about cultures. But life led me to another direction, and I ended up enrolling in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program. At first, it wasn’t the path I had imagined, but I have learned to embrace it. Now, I continue my journey as a third-year BSIT student—still learning, still progressing, and eager to grow.

I grew up in a simple family that taught me the importance of values and education. My childhood was filled with ordinary joys—playing with friends, listening to music, and being curious about everything around me. I have always loved music because it inspires me and makes me feel alive. In particular, I became a big fan of BTS, the Korean boyband group. Their songs, performances, and messages motivate me to keep pushing forward. Listening to their music has become part of my daily life, giving me comfort and strength, especially during stressful times in school.

High school was an important chapter in my life. It was filled with memories of friendships, challenges, and milestones. I wasn’t a perfect student, but I worked hard to improve myself. High school also taught me discipline and gave me the courage to dream bigger. It was then that I thought about pursuing Tourism, a field that I believed suited my personality and interests. But when I ended up in BSIT instead, I had to adjust to a course I never imagined taking. At first, I felt unsure if I could succeed in IT, but I reminded myself of the lessons I learned from BTS: to keep going, stay strong, and never give up.

By my second year, I started to gain more confidence. I was able to work on projects, learn programming skills, and collaborate with classmates. Every challenge I faced reminded me that growth takes time. I may have started with hesitation, but little by little, I began to see progress in myself.

Autobiography 2

Now, as a third-year BSIT student, I continue to balance academics with my personal interests. Listening to music and watching BTS performances remain a big part of my life. They inspire me whenever I feel tired from schoolwork or stressed by responsibilities. Their story of perseverance and dedication motivates me to keep learning, even when things are difficult. I know that I am still in the process of improving myself, but I am proud of how far I have come.

Looking back at my journey, I have realized that life does not always give us what we expect, but it always gives us opportunities to grow. I may not be studying the course I first dreamed of, but BSIT has given me skills, confidence, and lessons that will be valuable for my future. It taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of not giving up on myself.

This is my story—one of adjustment, perseverance, and passion. Life did not go according to the plan I had as a child, but I learned that every journey has its purpose. With my love for music, my inspiration from BTS, and my determination to keep learning, I continue writing the chapters of my life with hope and courage.
